This one-hour yoga class focuses on improving bone density.  The core of each class will be Dr. Loren Fishman’s “12 Yoga Poses for Osteoporosis.”  Did you know that there are actually 3 different series of 12 poses?  This class is great for those diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis but also for anyone working to strengthen their muscles while working on good alignment.  For more detailed information about this class, go to the calendar below.  Click on the date of the class and then click on the class name/photo below the calendar.

As we age it is crucial to find ways to keep our mind, body and spirit vibrant and happy.  This six-week yoga series will teach you many techniques that help:  strengthen balance, reduce achy backs and joints, sharpen your memory and reduce “clutter” or stress in our minds.  Each class will include yoga poses, breathing techniques and guided meditation.  No yoga background is required.  If you are a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, contact Anne Rahn to sign up!

One in 3 women age 60-70 have some pelvic floor issues.  Some experience it when laughing, coughing, running, jumping or just stepping off a curb & have a little leakage.  Others feel the need to urinate frequently & always need to rush to the bathroom throughout the day.  If you fall into one of these categories, this workshop will teach you exercises that hopefully will help.  Cost of this workshop is $25.  If you can’t attend in person, it will be recorded.  Sign up by emailing me at Karen@YogaTherapyWithKaren.com.
