Back Care Yoga

Online Only!      This class will work to improve your posture, align your body, relieve tight muscles and hopefully reduce tension and stress in your back, as well as your mind.   Every back care class is quite different.  Sometimes we focus on a part (or muscle) of the body that is a common culprit for back pain.  Other times we do gentle dynamic movement in and out of yoga poses to allow tight, painful muscles to be nourished and relax their grip on us.  And other times we work on strengthening parts of the body (core, legs, hips, back and shoulder muscles) so that we get stronger and work on preventing future problems.  This is a great class for beginners as well as those of us that have been practicing yoga for decades.
