Meditation

This meditation class will introduce you to a number of different meditations.  We frequently do guided meditations on different topics.  Some use visualization, breathwork, progressive relaxation and yoga nidra.  We also occasional use a mala (a garland or “necklace” of 108 beads that is used similar to prayer beads).  The mala is one of my favorite meditation devices.  This online class will teach you how to use a mala and then we will do several meditations with it in class.

Using the mala allows you to quiet the mind, cultivate inner peace, and let worry go.  In stressful times like this, it is a super helpful technique for turning inward and promoting your own well-being.  Don’t have a mala at home?  Then just find a beaded necklace or even bracelet to use, no matter how many beads it has.
