Special Event … Walking the Labyrinth!
Labyrinths are ancient patterns found throughout the world. Some times they are made of stone, of brick, of canvas, even of sand. There are multiple labyrinths in my area and I bet there may be in yours as well. Unlike a maze, there is only one path in to the center & one path out, so walking a labyrinth is often very calming, grounding & centering. There are various techniques of how to walk a labyrinth as well as different reasons to walk it. Some people come to the labyrinth to find a deeper sense of inner peace. Others come to the labyrinth with a question or a problem that they are struggling with. If you are interested in learn how walking a labyrinth can be a powerful meditative experience, I hope you will join me on September 12th.
So which labyrinth will we walk? For those that are local, we will be meeting at the labyrinth behind the parking lot of Shallowford Presbyterian Church (1200 Lewisville Clemmons Road, Lewisville, NC). If you would like to join us virtually, let me know and I can Zoom you in via my phone. You’ll need to find a labyrinth near you (try labyrinthlocator.com). Just send me an email (Kare@YogaTherapyWithKaren.com) to sign up.
I hope you will join me for this free in-person (& virtual) experience of a labyrinth meditative walk!
