Shanti Shuffle: Somatics

Somatics, like yoga, is a form of mind-body integration.  “Soma” actually means “the body as perceived from within.”  A somatics practice is very gentle and subtle but can actually be a very profound healing experience.  It’s almost like a gentle massage for your mind and your entire nervous system.  Think of being calm, relaxed and creating new neural pathways in the body with hopefully less stress in the mind.
