Shanti Shuffle: Modifying your Sun Salutations

Are you missing your sun salutations but worried about hurting tender knee and shoulder joints?  Do you love movement but want to discover ways of moving without so much “up and down” from your mat?  Then here’s the class for you.

Get creative with your surya namascars!  The wall and the chair are your friends.  Learn how to do a full sun salute without any props other than your mat and a wall.  And if your creaky knees don’t love low lunges and your shoulders are “done” with multiple chaturangas, then grab your chair and keep moving through your poses.

This class may get your heart pumping a little more, so get ready for a little heat, some good breathing and bring back a mindful FLOW into your yoga practice.
