
Shanti Shuffle: Mantra & Modern-Day Chant
This month many of our Tuesday night classes feature different kinds of music. Tonight it is Chant. The repetition of words, phrases, sounds are powerful for reducing stress in the mind. They can focus us, give us “good vibrations” and calm us down. Don’t worry, Karen won’t be singing! We’ll be hearing chants/songs by Wade Imre Morrisette, LeAnn Rimes, Krishna Das and I’ll sneak in at least one song by my guy, Trevor Hall. It’s an unusual mix you won’t want to miss. Come join us!
