Mandalas, Meditation & More! Workshop

Mandalas are a beautiful circular design that are used in various spiritual traditions to create balance, focus and internal peace.  You can make them out of natural materials (rocks, twigs, rice, beans, shells, etc.) or you can create them by drawing a circle on a piece of paper and decorate inside the circle with various geometric patterns.

This workshop will start with a simple yoga practice (so bring a “camp” chair to sit in if you like).  We’ll then do a walking meditation in the park and pick up little bits of nature (leaves, twigs, and rocks) that we’ll take back to the picnic tables.  Then after a little instruction, you’ll begin a silent “meditation” where you create your own unique mandala out of the natural materials around us (and I’ll bring a few others to use as well).  This is an all-levels workshop, beginners are welcome.  Cost = $10.   And in the event of rain, we will bring the workshop inside at my home.  Send an email to Karen@YogaTherapyWithKaren.com to join the workshop and get more information.
