Tuesday Night Shanti Shuffle … Flow in the Dark!
It’s almost Halloween! And what is more fun than to wear glow necklaces and bracelets? No need to go buy them, once you sign up for class a sneaky yoga teacher will drop yours off at your house prior to class. We’ll be doing reclining vinyasas, some new seated flows (oh, gosh, now I’m going to have to create them!) and a few standing poses with gentle dynamic movement. Sorry, it’s not 108 sun salutations, but it will be a chance to let your creativity flow in a new way. Sundown on October 27th is around 6:30pm, so when you turn off your lights at the beginning of class you may still have a little ambient light around you. But by the time you end in Savasana, it should be pretty dark. And I’ll have black lights on in the Shanti Shed.
Costumes are optional but super welcomed! Just make sure you can move in them, and not trip on a long mermaid tail or flowy Wicked Witch of the West outfit. Oh, and know that white, lighter colored costumes may stand out a bit better on the screen, unless you want to be mysterious and just let us see your glowy necklaces, wrist bracelets and Glow in the Dark anklets (hope that works) if you wear your Halloween black.
So channel your inner child and join me for a fun, relaxing mini-flow class!
The class is held online via Zoom. Sign up by sending an email to Karen@YogaTherapyWithKaren.com to check. During this stressful time, all classes are donation based. Pay what you can if you like the class, by sending a check in the mail.
