
“Cultivating Calm for the Holidays” Workshop
Holiday season can be stressful for many of us. Calming down is helpful, but often temporary. However, pursuing calm is a different approach that helps us develop a new habit of retaining peace for longer periods of time. This workshop will teach you techniques that help you reduce anxiety, release stored cortisol in your system and teach you how to cultivate calm as a new positive habit in your life. You will learn breathing techniques for reducing stress, yoga postures to nurture your heart and practice caregiving to yourself. You deserve it. Take time this holiday season to unplug, restore and refresh. A time for tea and a little socializing will take place after your practice. The morning workshop (10:00am to noon) is now full. A few spots are still open in the evening workshop (5:00pm to 7:00pm). The cost of this workshop is $30. Space is limited. No yoga experience needed.
